Tennessee High School Softball - Monterey bounces Clarkrange
April 19, 2022: Monterey, TN 38574 Monterey Wildcats (Monterey, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Clarkrange Buffaloes (Clarkrange, TN), 11-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to York Institute for a 2A District 5 challenge on Thursday, April 21. Monterey will battle a Dragons squad coming off a 16-1 league loss to Jackson County (Gainesboro, TN). The Dragons record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Clarkrange falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Harriman (Harriman, TN) to battle the Blue Devils in a non-league challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Blue Devils enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Harriman won 6-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Roane County (Kingston, TN)
