Washington High School Softball - Colville bounces Newport
April 19, 2022: Newport, WA 99156 Colville Crimson Hawks (Colville, WA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Newport Grizzlies (Newport, WA), 17-6 in a league challenge.
The Crimson Hawks now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Deer Park for a 1A Northeast challenge on Friday, April 22. Colville will battle a Stags squad coming off a 10-9 league loss to Lakeside (Nine Mile Falls, WA). The Stags record now stands at 4-3.
With the loss, Newport falls to 3-5 on the campaign. The Grizzlies travel to Deer Park (Deer Park, WA) to battle the Stags in a 1A Northeast challenge on Saturday, April 23. The Stags enter the challenge with a record of 4-3.
