North Carolina High School Softball - North Moore bounces Southern Wake Academy
April 19, 2022: Robbins, NC 27325 North Moore Mustangs (Robbins, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now sport a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they host Faith Christian for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 26. North Moore will face a Eagles squad coming off a 11-7 league loss to Grace Christian (Sanford, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Southern Wake Academy falls to 0-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC) to face the Knights in a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Wednesday, April 20. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 5-7. Chatham Charter lost 4-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC)
