April 19, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23323 Deep Creek Hornets (Chesapeake, VA) fans were pleased Wednesday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting King's Fork Bulldogs (Suffolk, VA), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Hornets confront the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, April 20. Deep Creek will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA).
The Bulldogs now have a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Oscar Smith for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 21. King's Fork will confront a Tigers team coming off a 5-0 non-league loss to Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Tigers record now stands at 0-3.
