North Carolina High School Lacrosse - Cape Fear Academy bounces New Hanover
April 19, 2023: Wilmington, NC 28412 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league game between the Cape Fear Academy Hurricanes (Wilmington, NC) and the visiting New Hanover Wildcats (Wilmington, NC), saw Cape Fear Academy's lacrosse team top New Hanover by a margin of 15-1.
The Hurricanes (8-2) will now prepare for their game against Cary Christian (Cary, NC). The Knights enter the NCISAA - Division II game with a 2-8 record.
The Wildcats (4-11) will now prepare for their game against Topsail (Hampstead, NC). The Pirates enter the Mideastern game with a 13-3 record. In their last game, Topsail toppled West Brunswick (Shallotte, NC), 18-0, in a league game.
