Ohio High School Lacrosse - Miamisburg can't get by Fairmont
April 19, 2023: Kettering, OH 45429 Fairmont Firebirds (Kettering, OH) followers exited the stadium content Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad nip the visiting Miamisburg Vikings (Miamisburg, OH), 10-9 in a league battle.
The Firebirds now have a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Edgewood for a non-league battle on Friday, April 21. Fairmont will play a Cougars team coming off a 11-3 league loss to Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH). The Cougars record now stands at 4-4.
With the defeat, Miamisburg drops to 6-4 on the season. The Vikings host Fairfield (Fairfield, OH) to play the Indians in a non-league match on Saturday, April 22. The Indians go into the match with a record of 0-8. Fairfield lost 15-1 in their recent league match against Lakota East (Liberty Township, OH)
