Maryland High School Softball - Kent County bounces Washington
April 19, 2023: Worton, MD 21678 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league match between the Kent County Trojans (Worton, MD) and the visiting Washington Jaguars (Princess Anne, MD), saw Kent County's softball squad achieve victory over Washington by a count of 19-1.
The Trojans now sport a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Colonel Richardson for a Bayside - North match on Monday, April 24. Kent County will face a Colonels squad coming off a 13-3 league loss to North Caroline (Ridgely, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Washington falls to 0-5 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Decatur (Berlin, MD) to face the Seahawks in a Bayside - South match on Monday, April 24. The Seahawks enter the match with a record of 12-1. Decatur won 24-1 in their recent league match against Crisfield (Crisfield, MD)
