Tennessee High School Softball - Sycamore loses to Springfield
April 19, 2023: Springfield, TN 37172 The Springfield Yellow Jackets softball team scored 14 runs and limited the visiting Sycamore War Eagles to 4 in the Yellow Jackets non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Springfield moves its record to 12-3 on the year. The Yellow Jackets travel to East Robertson (Cross Plains, TN) to clash with the Indians in a non-league game on Friday, April 21. The Indians come into the game with a record of 1-8. East Robertson lost 17-7 in their recent non-league game against Station Camp (Gallatin, TN)
In their next game, the War Eagles clash with the Cheatham County Central Cubs (Ashland City, TN) in a 2A District 9 game, on Monday, April 24. Sycamore will attempt to move on its 1-7 season record. The Cubs come into the game with a 10-2 record after their 9-5 league win over Harpeth (Kingston Springs, TN).
