April 19, 2024: Charleston, WV 25311 The Capital Cougars baseball team (Charleston, WV), was overwhelmed 18-2 in Friday's non-league outing with the visiting Winfield Generals (Winfield, WV)
The Generals now hold a 15-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Charleston for a non-league outing on Friday, April 19. Winfield will confront a Black Eagles team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Hurricane (Hurricane, WV). The Black Eagles record now stands at 5-7.
Next, the Cougars confront the Nitro Wildcats (Nitro, WV) in a non-league outing, on Monday, April 22. Capital will attempt to advance on its 6-9 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 8-9 record after their 11-5 non-league win over Point Pleasant (Point Pleasant, WV).
