Shamrock Irish (Shamrock, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Kress Kangaroos (Kress, TX), 7-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Shamrock upgrades its record to 1-8 on the season. The Irish travel to Wellington (Wellington, TX) to battle the Skyrockets in a 2A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 23. The Skyrockets come into the test with a record of 1-3.

With the defeat, Kress falls to 8-12 on the season. The Kangaroos travel to Claude (Claude, TX) to battle the Mustangs in a 1A Region I District 2 test on Tuesday, April 23. The Mustangs come into the test with a record of 10-5.
