Massachusetts High School Baseball - West Bridgewater holds off Old Rochester Regional
April 19, 2024: Mattapoisett, MA 02739 West Bridgewater Wildcats (West Bridgewater, MA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Old Rochester Regional Bulldogs (Mattapoisett, MA), 8-4 in a league test.
With the win, West Bridgewater upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Fairhaven (Fairhaven, MA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a South Coast game on Monday, April 22. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 3-3. Fairhaven won 7-2 in their recent league game against Bourne (Bourne, MA)
The Bulldogs (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Dighton-Rehoboth Regional (North Dighton, MA). The Falcons go into the South Coast game with a 4-2 record. In their last game, Dighton-Rehoboth Regional was overwhelmed by Somerset Berkley Regional (Somerset, MA), 5-0, in a league game.
