The Trinity Christian Gryphons (Fairfax, VA) baseball nipped the visiting The Covenant Eagles (Charlottesville, VA), 6-5 in Friday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Gryphons encounter the Southern Maryland Christian Academy Mustangs (White Plains, MD) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, April 23. Trinity Christian will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 1-6 record after their 18-1 league loss to Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA).

The Eagles now sport a 5-5 record. They play next when they host Miller School of Albemarle for a VISAA Virginia Independent contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Covenant will encounter a Mavericks squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA). The Mavericks record now stands at 17-5.
