In Friday's non-league contest, the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) volleyball squad were winner over the host Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL), by a margin of 2-0.

Next up, the Bulldogs face the Carmel Corsairs (Mundelein, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 20. Grant Community will attempt to better on its 10-11 season record. The Corsairs go into the contest with a 11-8 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Glenbard North (Carol Stream, IL).

With the loss, Schaumburg moves to 7-12 on the year. The Saxons travel to Conant (Hoffman Estates, IL) to face the Cougars in a contest on Tuesday, April 23. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 18-2. Conant won 2-0 in their recent non-league contest against Taft (Chicago, IL)
