Rhode Island High School Baseball - La Salle Academy holds off Cranston East
April 19, 2024: Cranston, RI 02910 La Salle Academy Rams (Providence, RI) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Cranston East Thunderbolts (Cranston, RI), 9-5 in a non-league test.
With the win, La Salle Academy upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Rams travel to East Providence (East Providence, RI) to battle the Townies in a test on Saturday, April 20. The Townies come into the test with a record of 5-0.
With the defeat, Cranston East falls to 2-2 on the season. The Thunderbolts host Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to battle the Falcons in a non-league test on Monday, April 22. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 3-2. Cranston West won 12-1 in their recent non-league test against Moses Brown (Providence, RI)
