Virginia High School Lacrosse - Steward drops to Cape Henry Collegiate
April 19, 2024: Virginia Beach, VA 23454 Cape Henry Collegiate Dolphins (Virginia Beach, VA) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the visiting Steward Spartans (Richmond, VA), 17-6 in a league battle.
The Dolphins now have a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host First Colonial for a non-league battle on Tuesday, April 23. Cape Henry Collegiate will clash with a Patriots squad coming off a 13-5 league win over Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 2-5.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints (Suffolk, VA) in a Tidewater Independent battle, on Tuesday, April 23. Steward will attempt to move on its 4-3 season record. The Saints come into the battle with a 7-3 record after their 15-9 non-league win over Virginia Episcopal School (Lynchburg, VA).
