Tennessee High School Soccer - Grace Baptist Academy knocks off Polk County
April 19, 2024: Benton, TN 37307 Grace Baptist Academy Golden Eagles (Chattanooga, TN) fans were thrilled Friday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the host Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles face the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions (Sewanee, TN) in a D II-A East 2 challenge, on Tuesday, April 23. Grace Baptist Academy will attempt to better on its 1-3 season record. The Mountain Lions enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Boyd-Buchanan (Chattanooga, TN).
The Wildcats now have a 1-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tyner Academy for a A District 3 challenge on Monday, April 22. Polk County will face a Rams team coming off a 9-0 league win over Tellico Plains (Tellico Plains, TN). The Rams record now stands at 2-3.
