Ohio High School Softball - Anthony Wayne bounces Elyria
April 19, 2024: Elyria, OH 44035 The Anthony Wayne Generals routed the host Elyria Pioneers softball squad by a count of 16-1 in Friday's non-league battle.
The Generals (9-0) will now prepare for their battle against Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH). The Rams go into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Upper Sandusky topped Hillsdale (Jeromesville, OH), 8-2, in a non-league battle.
The Pioneers now sport a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Mathews for a non-league battle on Saturday, April 20. Elyria will meet a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Triway (Wooster, OH). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-3.
