Michigan High School Softball - Marian nudges Athens
April 19, 2024: Bloomfield Hills, MI 48301 Marian Mustangs (Bloomfield Hills, MI) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Athens Red Hawks (Troy, MI), 7-6 in a non-league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Our Lady of the Lakes for a Catholic AA challenge on Friday, April 19.
With the loss, Athens falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Red hawks travel to Royal Oak (Royal Oak, MI) to face the Ravens in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 23. The Ravens enter the challenge with a record of 1-5. Royal Oak won 22-21 in their recent league challenge against Berkley (Berkley, MI)
