Connecticut High School Softball - Warde bounces Bridgeport Central
April 19, 2024: Bridgeport, CT 06606 Warde Mustangs (Fairfield, CT) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Bridgeport Central Hilltoppers (Bridgeport, CT), 13-0 in a league challenge.
The Mustangs now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Canaan for a Fairfield County challenge on Monday, April 22. Warde will battle a Rams squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Ludlowe (Fairfield, CT). The Rams record now stands at 3-5.
With the loss, Bridgeport Central falls to 1-6 on the season. The Hilltoppers travel to Greenwich (Greenwich, CT) to face the Cardinals in a Fairfield County match on Monday, April 22. The Cardinals go into the match with a record of 3-5. Greenwich won 3-2 in their recent league match against Wilton (Wilton, CT)
