New York High School Softball - Lancaster bounces Iroquois
April 19, 2024: Elma, NY 14059 Spectators at Friday's non-league match between the Lancaster Legends (Lancaster, NY) and the host Iroquois Redhawks (Elma, NY), witnessed Lancaster's softball squad prevail over Iroquois by a count of 14-4.
The Legends now sport a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Depew for a non-league match on Monday, April 22. Lancaster will face a Wildcats squad coming off a 13-1 non-league win over Alden (Alden, NY). The Wildcats record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Iroquois moves to 3-1 on the season. The Redhawks host Alden (Alden, NY) to face the Bulldogs in a Section 6 Erie County IV match on Monday, April 22. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 3-2. Alden lost 16-13 in their recent non-league match against Alexander (Alexander, NY)
