April 19, 2024: Downs, IL 61736 In Friday's league contest, the Tri-Valley Vikings (Downs, IL) softball team held off the visiting LeRoy Panthers (LeRoy, IL), by a margin of 16-15.
With the triumph, Tri-Valley moves its record to 10-7 on the year. The Vikings travel to El Paso-Gridley (El Paso, IL) to play the Titans in a Heart of Illinois contest on Monday, April 22. The Titans come into the contest with a record of 2-9.
In their next game, the Panthers play the Dwight Trojans (Dwight, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, April 20. LeRoy will attempt to move on its 17-3 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 9-5 record after their 6-0 league loss to Seneca (Seneca, IL).
