McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting West Limestone Wildcats (Lester, AL), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Bobcats now own a 6-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cherokee County for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. McNairy Central will battle a Warriors squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL). The Warriors record now stands at 26-5.

With the loss, West Limestone falls to 33-7 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Muscle Shoals (Muscle Shoals, AL) to battle the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 20. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 24-6. Muscle Shoals lost 2-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Cherokee County (Centre, AL)
