April 19, 2024: Seneca, IL 61360 The Seneca Fighting Irish triumphed over the visiting Streator Bulldogs softball squad by a count of 12-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Fighting Irish play the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, April 20. Seneca will attempt to upgrade on its 15-1 season record. The Tigers enter the challenge with a 9-4 record after their 21-5 league win over Mendota (Mendota, IL).
The Bulldogs (6-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Manteno (Manteno, IL). The Panthers enter the Illinois Central Eight challenge with a 18-0 record.
