In Saturday's non-league bout, the Argo Argonauts (Summit, IL) baseball squad nipped the host Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL), by a score of 2-1.

Next up, the Argonauts encounter the Blue Island Eisenhower Cardinals (Blue Island, IL) in a bout, on Monday, April 21. Argo will attempt to advance on its 4-10 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 7-7 record after their 11-0 league win over Thornton Fractional North (Calumet City, IL).
