The Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets baseball squad (Roanoke Rapids, NC), was overwhelmed 20-12 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC)

With the triumph, Ayden - Grifton moves its record to 14-5 on the season. The Chargers host West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC) to confront the Vikings in a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. The Vikings come into the contest with a record of 5-11. West Columbus won 3-2 in their recent league contest against Pender (Burgaw, NC)

The Yellowjackets now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Farmville Central for a non-league contest on Monday, April 21. Roanoke Rapids will confront a Jaguars squad coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 9-7.
