April 19, 2025: Alexandria, KY 41001 The Campbell County Camels baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting South Laurel Cardinals to 0 in the Camels non-league win on Saturday.
The Camels now own a 13-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Madison Southern for a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. Campbell County will play a Eagles team coming off a 5-1 non-league win over North Laurel (London, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 6-8.
With the defeat, South Laurel drops to 13-2 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Whitley County (Williamsburg, KY) to play the Colonels in a District 50 test on Monday, April 21. The Colonels go into the test with a record of 15-3. Whitley County won 13-2 in their recent non-league test against Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY)
