April 19, 2025: Chillicothe, OH 45601 The West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH) baseball trounced the host Chillicothe Cavaliers (Chillicothe, OH), 9-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Roughriders now own a 7-3 record. They take the field next when they host Triad for a Ohio Heritage North challenge on Monday, April 21. West Jefferson will clash with a Cardinals team coming off a 5-3 league loss to Greeneview (Jamestown, OH). The Cardinals record now stands at 1-8.
With the defeat, Chillicothe drops to 3-6 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Hillsboro (Hillsboro, OH) to clash with the Indians in a Frontier Athletic challenge on Monday, April 21. The Indians go into the challenge with a record of 3-7. Hillsboro lost 18-8 in their recent non-league challenge against Williamsburg (Williamsburg, OH)
