April 19, 2025: Freeland, MI 48623 Freeland Falcons (Freeland, MI) fans left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the visiting Elk Rapids Elks (Elk Rapids, MI), 14-3 in a non-league match.
With the triumph, Freeland advances its record to 7-1 on the season. The Falcons travel to Garber (Essexville, MI) to battle the Dukes in a Tri-Valley - 8 match on Tuesday, April 22. The Dukes come into the match with a record of 4-1. Garber won 15-0 in their recent league match against Birch Run (Birch Run, MI)
The Elks now have a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Francis for a Lake Michigan match on Monday, April 21. Elk Rapids will battle a Gladiators squad coming off a 4-0 non-league loss to Traverse City Central (Traverse City, MI). The Gladiators record now stands at 5-2.
