April 19, 2025: Traverse City, MI 49686 The Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) baseball got by the visiting Lakeview Spartans (Battle Creek, MI), 5-4 in Saturday's non-league challenge.
The Trojans now own a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Petoskey for a Big North challenge on Tuesday, April 22. Traverse City Central will clash with a Northmen team coming off a 11-2 non-league loss to Hudsonville (Hudsonville, MI). The Northmen record now stands at 4-1.
With the defeat, Lakeview drops to 3-4 on the year. The Spartans travel to Norrix (Kalamazoo, MI) to clash with the Knights in a Southwestern Michigan - East challenge on Wednesday, April 23. The Knights go into the challenge with a record of 5-4. Norrix lost 9-5 in their recent non-league challenge against Lakeshore (Stevensville, MI)
