Mount Carmel RED TORNADOES (Mount Carmel, PA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting North Schuylkill Spartans (Ashland, PA), 10-0 in a non-league match.

With the triumph, Mount Carmel moves its record to 7-2 on the season. The RED TORNADOES host Lewisburg (Lewisburg, PA) to battle the Green Dragons in a Heartland II match on Monday, April 21. The Green Dragons come into the match with a record of 3-6. Lewisburg lost 17-4 in their recent league match against Midd-West (Middleburg, PA)

The Spartans now possess a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tamaqua for a Schuylkill County 1 match on Monday, April 21. North Schuylkill will battle a Blue Raiders squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Pottsville (Pottsville, PA). The Blue Raiders record now stands at 12-1.
