April 19, 2025: Fort Wayne, IN 46815 Northridge Raiders (Middlebury, IN) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Fort Wayne Snider Panthers (Fort Wayne, IN), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Northridge improves its record to 2-4 on the season. The Raiders travel to Columbia City (Columbia City, IN) to face the Eagles in a non-league test on Saturday, April 19. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 5-1. Columbia City won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Fort Wayne Northrop (Fort Wayne, IN)
The Panthers now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran for a test on Wednesday, May 7.

The Northridge High School boys’ volleyball team pulled out a hard-fought 2-1 win over Ft. Wayne Snider at the Carroll Invitational on Saturday, April 19th, rallying after dropping the first set to take the match with scores of 23-25, 25-23, and 15-7.
Mehtaab Rai led the Raiders with a strong performance at the net, tallying 6 kills and 5 blocks, while also adding 3 aces. Gustav Disch was equally impactful, contributing 5 kills, 5 assists, 3 aces, and a team-high 9 digs.
Setter Jose Duron facilitated the offense with 6 assists and added 5 blocks on the defensive end. On the back row, Maycen Slabaugh and Jack McCartney provided solid coverage with 8 and 7 digs, respectively.
