California High School Volleyball - Central over Mount Miguel

Fans at Saturday's non-league contest between the Central Spartans (El Centro, CA) and the host Mount Miguel Matadors (Spring Valley, CA), observed Central's volleyball team top Mount Miguel by a count of 2-0.

The Spartans (16-11) will now prepare for their contest against Calexico (Calexico, CA). The Bulldogs enter the Imperial Valley contest with a 20-6 record. In their last contest, Calexico was knocked off by Mission Bay (San Diego, CA), 2-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Matadors battle the Steele Canyon Cougars (Spring Valley, CA) in a Grossmont Valley contest, on Tuesday, April 22. Mount Miguel will attempt to move on its 4-26 season record. The Cougars enter the contest with a 5-11 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to San Diego Academy (National City, CA).
