Connecticut High School Lacrosse - Deerfield Academy nipped by Taft School
April 19, 2025: Watertown, CT 06795 Taft School Big Red (Watertown, CT) backers exited the stadium satisfied Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the visiting Deerfield Academy Big Green (Deerfield, MA), 11-10 in a non-league game.
With the victory, Taft School improves its record to 5-3 on the season. The Big Red host Choate Rosemary Hall School (Wallingford, CT) to play the Wild Boars in a Western New England Division 1 game on Wednesday, April 23. The Wild Boars come into the game with a record of 7-1. Choate Rosemary Hall School won 12-5 in their recent non-league game against Phillips Academy (Andover, MA)
The Big Green now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loomis Chaffee School for a non-league game on Wednesday, April 23. Deerfield Academy will play a Pelicans team coming off a 18-11 league win over Avon Old Farms (Avon, CT). The Pelicans record now stands at 7-1.
