Illinois High School Lacrosse - St. Rita drops to Washington
April 19, 2025: Washington, IL 61571 Washington Panthers (Washington, IL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Saturday as they saw their lacrosse team overcome the visiting St. Rita Mustangs (Chicago, IL), 16-9 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Washington advances its record to 5-3 on the season. The Panthers travel to Normal Community (Normal, IL) to encounter the Ironmen in a South Suburban battle on Monday, April 21. The Ironmen come into the battle with a record of 2-3. Normal Community lost 9-1 in their recent league battle against Lincoln-Way West (New Lenox, IL)
The Mustangs now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Brother Rice for a Chicago Catholic - White battle on Tuesday, April 22. St. Rita will encounter a Crusaders team coming off a 9-1 league win over Nazareth Academy (LaGrange Park, IL). The Crusaders record now stands at 6-5.
