Washington High School Softball - Mt. Baker sneaks past Elma
April 19, 2025: Deming, WA 98244 The Mt. Baker Mountaineers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Elma Eagles to 10 in the Mountaineers non-league win on Saturday.
The Mountaineers now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lynden for a 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle on Tuesday, April 22. Mt. Baker will confront a Lions team coming off a 13-0 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.
With the loss, Elma moves to 7-4 on the season. The Eagles host Tenino (Tenino, WA) to confront the Beavers in a 1A Evergreen battle on Monday, April 21. The Beavers come into the battle with a record of 0-10. Tenino lost 17-7 in their recent non-league battle against Nooksack Valley (Everson, WA)
