Illinois High School Softball - Grant Community gets by Palatine
April 19, 2025: Fox Lake, IL 60020 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Grant Community Bulldogs (Fox Lake, IL) and the visiting Palatine Pirates (Palatine, IL), observed Grant Community's softball team get by Palatine by a tally of 4-3.
The Bulldogs (10-5) will now prepare for their bout against Grayslake Central (Grayslake, IL). The Rams go into the Northern Lake County bout with a 5-4 record. In their last bout, Grayslake Central was nipped by Antioch (Antioch, IL), 15-9, in a league bout.
In their next game, the Pirates clash with the Vernon Hills Cougars (Vernon Hills, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, April 19. Palatine will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-12 record after their 17-0 league loss to Niles North (Skokie, IL).
