Delaware High School Softball - Mardela sneaks past Smyrna
April 19, 2025: Smyrna, DE 19977 In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Mardela Warriors softball team scored a tight 2-1 win over the Smyrna Eagles.
The Warriors (12-1) will now prepare for their match against Caravel Academy (Bear, DE). The Buccaneers come into the non-league match with a 4-1 record. In their last match, Caravel Academy nipped North East (North East, MD), 7-2, in a non-league match.
In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bohemia Manor Eagles (Chesapeake City, MD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, April 19. Smyrna will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Eagles come into the match with a 12-1 record after their 15-1 league win over North Harford (Pylesville, MD).
