Illinois High School Softball - Woodstock edged by Montini Catholic
April 19, 2025: Woodstock, IL 60098 Montini Catholic Broncos (Lombard, IL) followers went home content Saturday as they witnessed their softball team edge the host Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL), 6-5 in a non-league outing.
The Broncos now sport a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to LaSalle-Peru for a non-league outing on Saturday, April 19. Montini Catholic will encounter a Cavaliers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Webster Thomas (Webster, NY). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-3.
With the loss, Woodstock moves to 2-10 on the season. The Blue streaks travel to Crystal Lake Central (Crystal Lake, IL) to encounter the Tigers in a non-league outing on Saturday, April 19. The Tigers come into the outing with a record of 9-0. Crystal Lake Central won 13-1 in their recent league outing against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL)
