April 2, 2022: Anderson, TX 77830 The Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls (Anderson, TX) baseball nipped the visiting La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX), 4-3 in Saturday's non-league contest.
Coming up next, the Fighting Owls play the Trinity Tigers (Trinity, TX) in a 3A Region III District 23 contest, on Tuesday, April 5. Anderson-Shiro will attempt to better on its 9-7 season record. The Tigers enter the contest with a 1-3 record after their 23-1 league loss to Tarkington (Cleveland, TX).
The Leopards now sport a 0-9 record. They take the field next when they host Giddings for a 4A Region III District 20 contest on Tuesday, April 5. La Grange will play a Buffaloes squad coming off a 15-5 league win over Manor New Tech (Manor, TX). The Buffaloes record now stands at 11-6.
