Tennessee High School Baseball - Davidson Academy loses to Smyrna
April 2, 2022: Smyrna, TN 37167 The Davidson Academy Bears baseball team (Nashville, TN), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Saturday's non-league outing with the host Smyrna Bulldogs (Smyrna, TN)
The Bulldogs now hold a 7-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Cane Ridge for a 4A District 8 outing on Monday, April 4. Smyrna will confront a Ravens team coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Middle Tennessee Christian (Murfreesboro, TN). The Ravens record now stands at 2-5.
Next, the Bears confront the Goodpasture Christian Cougars (Madison, TN) in a D II-A Middle 4 outing, on Monday, April 4. Davidson Academy will attempt to advance on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars go into the outing with a 11-2 record after their 11-1 non-league win over Overton (Nashville, TN).
