The Miller School of Albemarle Mavericks baseball team scored 12 runs and limited the host Hickory Hawks to 7 in the Mavericks non-league victory on Saturday.

The Mavericks (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Collegiate (Richmond, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 5-4 record. In their last match, Collegiate was overwhelmed by Steward (Richmond, VA), 11-1, in a non-league match.
