The Monroe Vikings (North Hills, CA) baseball nipped the visiting Reseda Regents (Reseda, CA), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Vikings encounter the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Wednesday, April 6. Monroe will attempt to better on its 10-6 season record. The Dons come into the contest with a 6-9 record after their 9-3 non-league win over St. Genevieve (Panorama City, CA).

The Regents now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they host Sylmar for a Valley Mission contest on Monday, April 4. Reseda will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 6-5 non-league loss to El Camino Real (Woodland Hills, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 9-6.
