California High School Volleyball - Del Oro can't hold off Clovis North
April 2, 2022: Loomis, CA 95650 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Clovis North Broncos volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Del Oro Golden Eagles.
The Broncos (14-12) will now prepare for their battle against Nevada Union (Grass Valley, CA). The Miners come into the non-league battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Nevada Union nudged West Park (Roseville, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Golden Eagles clash with the Granite Bay Grizzlies (Granite Bay, CA) in a Sierra Foothill League battle, on Monday, April 4. Del Oro will attempt to advance on its 2-10 season record. The Grizzlies come into the battle with a 7-6 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA).
