California High School Volleyball - Maywood CES can't hold off Smidt Tech
April 2, 2022: Maywood, CA 90270 In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Smidt Tech Grey Wolves volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Maywood CES Wolfpack.
The Grey Wolves (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Central City Value (Los Angeles, CA). The Jaguars come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record. In their last battle, Central City Value was edged by Orthopaedic (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Wolfpack clash with the Marquez Gladiators (Huntington Park, CA) in a Southern battle, on Monday, April 4. Maywood CES will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record. The Gladiators come into the battle with a 14-3 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Fairfax (Los Angeles, CA).
