California High School Volleyball - Rio Americano Monterey Trail
April 2, 2022: Sacramento, CA 95864 The Monterey Trail Mustangs volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Rio Americano Raiders to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Saturday.
The Mustangs now have a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennedy for a Metropolitan Conference game on Tuesday, April 5. Monterey Trail will meet a Cougars team coming off a 0-0 non-league Pleasant Grove (Elk Grove, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 3-6.
The Raiders (6-8) will now prepare for their game against Christian Brothers (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons enter the Capital Athletic League game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Christian Brothers dropped by Granite Bay (Granite Bay, CA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
