California High School Baseball - Sonoma Valley wallops Piner
April 2, 2022: Santa Rosa, CA 95403 Sonoma Valley Dragons (Sonoma, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Piner Prospectors (Santa Rosa, CA), 17-6 in a non-league test.
With the win, Sonoma Valley upgrades its record to 6-4 on the season. The Dragons travel to Casa Grande (Petaluma, CA) to battle the Gauchos in a test on Monday, April 4. The Gauchos come into the test with a record of 10-2. Casa Grande won 19-1 in their recent league test against Justin-Siena (Napa, CA)
With the defeat, Piner falls to 1-2 on the season. The Prospectors host Healdsburg (Healdsburg, CA) to battle the Greyhounds in a test on Tuesday, April 5. The Greyhounds come into the test with a record of 3-7. Healdsburg lost 17-3 in their recent league test against West County (Sebastopol, CA)
