The Lake Norman Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Northwest Guilford Vikings lacrosse team by a score of 12-6 in Saturday's non-league match.

With the win, Lake Norman upgrades its record to 9-6 on the season. The Wildcats host Hough (Cornelius, NC) to play the Huskies in a Greater Metro/Queen City match on Wednesday, April 6. The Huskies go into the match with a record of 6-4. Hough won 20-8 in their recent non-league match against R.J. Reynolds (Winston-Salem, NC)

With the defeat, Northwest Guilford drops to 7-5 on the season. The Vikings travel to Grimsley (Greensboro, NC) to play the Whirlies in a Metro match on Monday, April 4.
