Arkansas High School Soccer - Morrilton knocks off Mena
April 2, 2022: Morrilton, AR 72110 Morrilton Devil Dogs (Morrilton, AR) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Mena Bearcats (Mena, AR), 5-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Devil Dogs confront the Sylvan Hills Bears (Sherwood, AR) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, April 5. Morrilton will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Bears enter the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Maumelle (Maumelle, AR).
The Bearcats now have a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bauxite for a 4A South challenge on Friday, April 8. Mena will confront a Miners team coming off a 7-4 league loss to Robinson (Little Rock, AR). The Miners record now stands at 2-5.
