April 2, 2022: Oblong, IL 62449 Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Altamont Indians (Altamont, IL) and the host Oblong Panthers (Oblong, IL), witnessed Altamont's softball squad prevail over Oblong by a count of 10-2.
The Indians now sport a 2-8 record. They play next when they travel to Teutopolis for a non-league match on Thursday, April 7. Altamont will face a Wooden Shoes squad coming off a 9-0 non-league loss to Casey-Westfield (Casey, IL). The Wooden Shoes record now stands at 5-2.
