Alabama High School Softball - Bob Jones bounces Rogers
April 2, 2022: Madison, AL 35758 Spectators at Saturday's non-league bout between the Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL) and the visiting Rogers Pirates (Florence, AL), witnessed Bob Jones's softball squad hold off Rogers by a final score of 13-6.
The Patriots (12-5) will now prepare for their bout against Hazel Green (Hazel Green, AL). The Trojans go into the non-league bout with a 19-3 record. In their last bout, Hazel Green held off Assumption (Louisville, KY), 6-0, in a non-league bout.
The Pirates now possess a 6-8 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a 4A Area 16 bout on Thursday, April 7. Rogers will confront a Wildcats squad coming off a 6-0 league loss to Brooks (Killen, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-11.
